sENATOR latONYA jOHNSON
LaTonya Johnson is a State Senator for Wisconsin’s 6th Senate District, representing Milwaukee’s Northwest side and the eastern part of Wauwatosa. First elected to the State Senate in 2016 after serving in the State Assembly, she comes from a background in small business and labor leadership, having operated a licensed in-home childcare program and served as president of AFSCME Local 502. In the Legislature, Senator Johnson focuses on strengthening families, protecting children, and expanding opportunity, with a record of advancing policies on public safety, maternal and child health, and workforce development.
